The eighties were a way of thinking, dressing, singing and expressing themselves. It was a time of rebellion, people dressed as they wanted. On the street you could see from the Punk more radical, passing through the styles Rockers and brazen, right down to the look Rockabillywhich marked a return to the '50s.
That's what it was all about, live with many different styles and each and every one of them had a place in the city. Often people dressed according to their standard of living, conditioned by the social class to which they belonged, but there were certain garments common to all these styles.
Fundamentally fashion was a way of expression of the social rebelliousness of those young people who showed their nonconformity to the conventions by grouping themselves in what was called "Urban Tribes.
